iTrain is a UK owned company that is committed to being a good corporate citizen and making a positive impact on the local and wider community. We take our responsibilities seriously in terms of the way we operate our business and in the projects that we develop with our customers. Some of our specific policies that reflect our values are outlined below.
Suppliers
- We will only use suppliers that have similar values to ourselves and can demonstrate that they are operated in an ethical and sustainable manner.
- Whilst pursuing competitive prices and quality products, we will seek to use local suppliers wherever possible.
- We will include small and medium sized enterprises when tendering for products or services and provide detailed feedback to all.
- We pay our suppliers promptly and fairly.
- We will research and promote the use of local suppliers to clients, wherever possible.
Customers
- We will only accept work from companies and clients that operate in an ethical and socially responsible manner.
- We will advise our customers of any development options that would meet their brief and improve social outcomes.
- We take data protection seriously and maintain systems that always protect customer information, including information that is commercially confidential.
- We always act in an open and honest manner and never put ourselves in a situation where potential conflicts of interest arise, without being fully disclosed to our current and potential clients.
Industry
- We support professional services organisations, predominantly law firms, in training their users on the software applications they use daily to deliver services to their clients.
- Our aim is to help user become more efficient, assist in their work/life balance and improve the quality of service their end clients receive.
Staff
- We are an equal opportunities employer and are committed to ensuring that our company has a successful and diverse workforce.
- We fully respect and embrace the unique contribution our staff make to the company, particularly when the staff profile reflects the full cross section of society.
- We are committed to helping our staff embrace lifelong learning activities and support them to undertake formal and informal training & development, wherever possible.
- We encourage our staff to take part in voluntary activities and offer paid time off to facilitate these.
- We seek comments from staff on how to develop our Corporate Social Responsibility policy further and empower them to identify any areas for improvement.

- We seek to be a prominent and supportive member of the local community, relevant charities and to positively contribute at a local and regional level.
